Welcome, fellow existential explorers, it is I, Cheeky Monkey HD.Com the Artist, here, once again hoping and praying to reveal the hidden depths contained within one of one of my artworks. On this occasion, LOOK AT THIS:

The face has two eyes. The mind has its very own eye. This is sometimes considered to be the “third” eye, albeit this is not a view held by the mind itself. “That’s fine,” I hear you say. “But how many eyes does John Torode have?” 

 “John Torode the celebrity chef?” I reply. 

“Yes,” you respond, somewhat wearily. “That’s the chap. ”

I laugh. You look at me laughing. I stop laughing.  I sigh. I explain. 

“John Torode has but two eyes,” I say, knowledgeably. “But the John Torode inside John Torode’s mouth also has two eyes.” 

“So how many eyes does he have?” You naively quiz. 

“Exactly, my friend.” I say. “Exactly”

And with that I walk off mysteriously, like the magician, Dynamo.  

“Yes,” you whimper. “Exactly how many eyes does John Torode have?”
