Greetings, fellow truth-seekers, it is I, Cheeky Monkey HD.Com the Artist, here, once again aching to analyse the multiple layers contained within one of one of my artworks. On this occasion, THIS:

Guys, I literally don’t know where to begin. So I’ll begin here: the title.   At first glance, it seems as though the title should be “Peace In Our Time”. The viewer is asked to ponder whether the artist (moi) intended this slip, whether the artist (moi) didn’t know what the phrase was supposed to be, or whether there was a simple autocorrect issue when the artist (moi) typed the title. And it’s really not for me (le artiste) to clarify. Art is not about clarifition. 

And so to the image itself.  A tank-load of jubilant, balaclavaed soldiers are stopped, quite literally, in their tracks by a resplendently attired Kim Kardashian holding up peace signs. She indeed had a “place” in our times, even if she cannot *fully* enable peace. Thank you, Kim. you will not be forgotten.
