Hi guys, it’s me, Cheeky Monkey HD.Com the Artist, here with yet another of my photo mashups to take a look at through my in-dpeth eye. Today’s piece is this:

  How curious it initially seems to juxtapose soldiers on parade against defiant X-Factor auditionee Ariel Burdett. And yet… is it really? Is it really  curious? 

No. 

Ariel, the holistic vocal coach, stands with hands on hips and glowers at Cheryl Cole. Her facial expression seems to say: “I am not a number, do not tell me to stand on an X.” And yet she has chosen  to be there. Think about it. 

  Next, we come to the soldiers; the proud soldiers.   Uniform: both in clothing and stance. They comply for our freedom. They have chosen to be there. 

And so the knot is tied. They are the same. They are opposite. This. Is. Art.
