Hi guys, it’s me, Cheeky Monkey HD.Com, here with the tale of a rather unusual gaming event that very much happened to me this morning.
The day started very much as usual. I awoke, rubbed my eyes, gave Cheeky Cat 1080p a stroke (she was laid next to me, so a minimum of effort was required), checked Twitter, rubbed my eyes again, crawled to the bathroom, did a deed, had a shower, got dried, got dressed, descended the stairs, poured a delcious bowl of cereal (and, no, I won’t reveal my preferred tipple, you cheeky monkeys), went into the living room, sat down, began to eat my corn flakes (whoops!! lol) whilst simulatneously powering on my Xbox One via the medium of the controller and continued to eat my cereal as I launched PES 2017. But this is where the similarities with a normal day come to a conclusion.
For as I launched PES 2017 the dreaded moment occurred: “An Update is Required”. I naively accepted this, only to be immediately confronted with a download of almost four whole Gigabytes! But, I reasoned, I have a wonderfully fast fibre broadband connection; surely this download would be complete in a mere trifle. How wrong I was – it actually took several minutes.
Rather than sit and glumly pontificate on what might have been, I decided to launch a slither.io stream so I could commentate on the progress of the download. And you can watch that very video, here:
Towards the end of the slither.io stream, I realised that I wouldn’t have time to Twitch a match once the update had completed. So instead, I Twitched a stream of me explaining that I wouldn’t be able to Twitch a match. You can watch this elegant solution to a tricky situation, here:
And so that was that. As I continue to traverse the highways and byways of becoming a ‘TuberTwitcher there are constant reminders of what a wonderful allegorical engine the virtual world is. It is within my remit to share this with you, and so I have, do and will.
Until next time,
See you laterrrrrr
