Hi guys, it’s me, Cheeky Monkey HD.Com, here with a very special blog post.  Yes it’s true.  I, Cheeky Monkey HD.Com, have reached the unbelievable milestone of having 50 videos on my YouTube channel. To call this an emotional moment is something of an understatement.  To mark the occasion, I’ve posted the following video message:

But, if you don’t mind, I’d like to explore the themes a little further via the medium of prose. Here we/I go:

YouTube. YouTubing. ‘Tubing.  You can call it many different things, but what I call it is: special.  I also call it YouTube, YouTubing and ‘Tubing – it generally depends on the situation and/or context – but regardless of that, I always call it special.  It’s almost as if the word “special” is like a luxurious duvet covering an already incredibly comfortable memory foam mattress.

And just as the memory foam contains the memories of the body that has laid upon it, my own mind contains memories of the YouTube videos that laid within the bed of my own experiences.  And what memories those memories are.  Like a collection of melted snowflakes, they are both beautiful, distinct and merged.  Formed together in the forge of mobile gaming to produce an Uru hammer of online content.  It is not for me to metaphorically compare myself with Thor, Norse God of Thunder, but if I were to do that then there would be only agreement, surely?

And yet, I digress.  Content, such as it is, contains a myriad of elements.  Like a futuristic shepherd, I wrangle these elements together. Sure, sometimes these components escape like a confluence of unruly cats (I’m looking at you Cheeky Cat 1080p) but, in a way, the ensuing chaos leads to only more beauty.  The strands of apocalyptic wool weaved into a rug of entertainment.

It is in these quiet, shared moments that I realise that I, Cheeky Monkey HD.Com, am blessed.
