A layer of thick mist spread over the battle arena like a blanket of despair (or a duvet of doubt).  The team of Cheeky Monkey HD.Com, Spider “Spidey” Man and Anthony “Tony the Iron Man” Stark huddled together in their dug-out on the rim of the Pummel Pit; they were discussing tactics for Tony’s upcoming bout against The Hulk.

“What I’d do,” said Spider-Man.  “Is smack him in the face. Then maybe web him up a bit.”

“But I don’t have webs, do I?” snarmed Tony.  “Do you know anything about repulsor rays, Peter?”

“Don’t say my real name in public, Tony,” retorted the Wall-Crawler.

“Yes, Stark,” rebuffed Cheeky Monkey HD.Com.  “That’s so unprofessional.  Grow up.”  Tony’s face blushed redder than the red bits of his armour.  “This fight is a golden opportunity for you.  More golden than the golden bits of your armour.”

“Yes, Tony,”  agreed the Web-Slinger.  “Grow up.”

Tony remained silent, but his team-mates could see that the message was finally sinking in for the notorious big-head.

“Look, Tony,” advised team leader, Cheeky Monkey HD.Com, “You’ve got loads and loads of high-tech weaponry, so just use that and hope for the best.  And Tony?”

“Yes?” replied the mustachioed lothario. 

“Whatever you do, don’t let him hit you.”
