Cheeky Monkey HD.Com, the expert Pokemon hunter, was, once again, sat in the driver’s seat of his bright yellow jeep.  However, in an ironic twist on the opening of the previous chapter of this story, this time the engine was running.  Why was the engine running?  Well, quite obviously, Cheeky Monkey HD.Com, was driving somewhere. Where? Why he was ‘a-hunting a Pokemon.  His prey? ….Itchibum.  The location? Big Ben.

Cheeky Monkey HD.Com laughed as he thought about it again.  He couldn’t believe that people still thought that the clock tower was called “Big Ben” and not the bell.  However, having checked the original text message that had alerted him to Itchibum’s location it turns out that the pesky Pokemon was actually inside the bell; hanging precariously off of the clanger.  Yes, he laughed at how ironic it all was.  He laughed loud and hard and wished that Alanis Morrissette had known about this situation before she’d written the song about irony (I can’t remember what it’s called – now isn’t that ironic?).

But laughing didn’t stop Cheeky Monkey HD.Com from accelerating; pushing the accelator pedal hard to the floor in order to increase the flow of oxygenated fuel into the Jeep’s hungry engine.  His speed was, quite literally, increasing and he loved it.  It was the ideal way to boost his adrenaline levels to become almost dangerously pumped.  For a normal human, such levels of hormonal excitement could be physically disastrous, but it was essential pre-requisite for any successful Pokemon hunter.  Those critters may be cute, but they sure were dangerous.

“SLAMMMMMMMMMM,” said the brakes of the Jeep, as Cheeky Monkey HD.Com slammed his foot down on the brake pedal, which caused two disks to rub together, causing the vehicle to quickly halt via the power of friction.  With all his in depth thoughts about popular misconceptions, irony, driving fast and adrenaline, he almost missed the fact that he’d actually arrived at the Palace of Westminster which contains the clock tower which contains the bell that is correctly called “Big Ben”.  However, Cheeky Monkey HD.Com was an expert Pokemon hunter and such lapses of concentration were momentary at best, and tiny at worst.  He was there.  Time to catch them all.
