Hi Guys, 

It’s me, Cheeky Monkey HD.Com, here, and it’s one of the good news/bad news kind of evenings.

First, the good news.  Some might say great news.  And that great news is that I’ve released two new videos to my YouTube channel.  Firstly a SimCity BuildIt episode:

And then a Marvel: Contest of Champions vid:

So, what’s the bad news?

Well it’s not so much bad news as it is bad news.

You see, both videos were plagued by technical difficulties.  Firstly, the entire first attempt at the SimCity video failed to record.  This means that much of the exciting mayoral action was lost, and when I made my second attempt at the video, there was much less hot administration to carry out. Frustrating.

Meanwhile, over on the Contest of Champions record, the app crashed right in the middle of a fight.  It was as infuriating as it was heartbreaking.  Sure, I managed to record the end of the scrap (and no, I won’t spoil the result), but much of the compelling pre-bout narrative was lost.  Double frustrating.

There’s not a lot you can do when the technology fails, but that doesn’t stop me from feeling bad. I hope you guys can forgive me.
